Corona confirmed to 45 more in the Far West on Saturday

Dhangadhi: Corona has been confirmed in 45 more people in the far west today. Tests at the laboratories of Seti Provincial Hospital, Doti District Hospital and Dadeldhura Hospital confirmed infection in 45 more people.

Tests at all three laboratories confirmed the infection in 24 people in Kailali, 16 in Bajhang, three in Kanchanpur and two in Doti. Of the 463 samples tested at the Seti Provincial Hospital's laboratory in the last 24 hours, 27 were confirmed infected, the hospital said.

Hospital Information Officer Dilip Kumar Shrestha said that 24 people from Kailali and three from Kanchanpur were infected. He said that three people in Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan ward no. 4 of Kailali, four in ward no. 5, four in ward no. He said that 12 people including four from Ward No. 3, one from Ward No. 7 and a 7-month-old baby from Godavari Municipality tested positive for corona. Similarly, two persons from Kanchanpur Rehabilitation Municipality and one person from Bhimdatta Municipality Ward No. 1 have been infected, said Information Officer Shrestha.

Similarly, 16 out of 110 samples tested at Dadeldhura Hospital in the last 24 hours showed infection.
