Dhangadhi: Corona has been confirmed in 31 more people in the far west on Sunday. The infection was confirmed in the laboratory of Seti Provincial Hospital, 12 people in the laboratory of Dadeldhura Hospital and 11 people in the laboratory of Doti Hospital.
In the last 24 hours, 753 corona tests have been conducted in all the three laboratories. According to the hospital, eight of the 371 samples tested in the last 24 hours at the Seti Provincial Hospital in Dhangadhi tested positive for corona.
Dilip Kumar Shrestha, information officer of the hospital, said that eight more people, including two women and six men from Kailali and Kanchanpur, were infected. He said that one person from Krishnapur Municipality Ward No. 9 of Kanchanur, three people from Shuklaphata Municipality Ward No. 11 and one person from Shuklaphata Municipality Ward No. 2 have been infected.
Similarly, one person from Tikapur Municipality Ward No. 7 of Kailali, one person from Kailari Village Municipality Ward No. 3 and one person from Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan Municipality Ward No. 2 have been confirmed infected, said Information Officer Shrestha.
Similarly, 12 out of 281 samples tested in the last 24 hours in the laboratory of Dadeldhura Hospital showed infection. Ishwori Prasad Bhushal, in-charge of the laboratory, said that 10 people from Bajhang and 2 people from Dadeldhura tested positive for corona.
He said that 10 people from Bungal Municipality of Bajhang and two people from Amargadhi Municipality Ward No. 11 of Dadeldhura have been confirmed infected. The reports of 269 others tested have come back negative.
Of the 101 samples tested at the District Hospital Doti in the last 24 hours, 11 were confirmed infected.
The laboratory's molecular lab in-charge Shaurabh Shrestha said that 11 out of 101 samples tested in the last 24 hours showed corona positive. He said that all the infected people were from Achham district today.
In-charge Shrestha informed that 11 people including one man and one woman from Turmakhand village and six men and three women from Dhamali have been infected.
In 24 hours, the corona of Armash village of Turmakhand, Dhamali and Doti of Achham and Dipayal Silgadhi municipality have been tested. At the same time, the number of corona infections in the far west has reached 6,165.
