Baitadi : A son has killed his father by hitting a sharp weapon ax in Ward No. 5 Shera of Dilashaini Rural Municipality. Lokendra Joshi, 21-year-old son, killed his 70-year-old father Antaram Joshi with a sharp weapon, said Lokraj Joshi, District Police Office Baitadi police inspector.
The father's head and body were separated by the blow of the ax. The incident happened around 5 am on Friday morning. He is the only son of the axe-wielding Lokendra Buba and has been detained by the Gokuleswar police. The police have informed that the investigation is being conducted as to what caused the incident.
