Dhangadhi: Preparations have been started to declare full vaccination coverage and sustainability in the Far Western Province, which has nine districts, two Terai districts and the remaining seven hills. This information was given at an interaction program related to vaccination with communication gaps organized by the Ministry of Social Development, Health Directorate, Rajpur Doti, in Dhangadhi on Thursday.
So far, out of the nine districts of Sudurpaschim Province, eight districts except Bajura, Achham, Baitadi, Kanchanpur, Dadeldhura, Bajhang, Darchula, Kailali and Doti have been declared complete vaccination assurance and sustainability districts. Daya Krishna Pant, public health officer of the provincial health directorate, said that Bajura will be fully vaccinated district declaration and assurance within this July, and immediately after that, Sudurpaschim province will also be declared a complete vaccination province and assurance province.
According to Pant, especially in Nepal, the government has been giving 13 vaccines continuously, free of charge, but now the government is giving 14 vaccines for the Corona virus, Covid-19. However, in other countries, 40 types of vaccines are being given. Until now, the government of Nepal has been continuously vaccinating 78% children and other citizens to increase their immunity to fight against various diseases and prevent them from contracting diseases. Still, other citizens are missing out on vaccination from the age of 22% children.
In order to declare full immunization coverage in the district or province, all the vaccines included in the national immunization schedule should be received within 15 months of age. The vaccination status of children aged between 16 and 23 months is identified and analyzed, and they will also be vaccinated, according to the provincial health directorate of Sudurpaschim Province.
Similarly, since there is no problem with any vaccination, human health will become stronger and fitter, so the Health Director of Sudurpaschim Province should vaccinate all the citizens,Jagdish Joshi insisted.
