Floods and landslides caused great human losses and some lost everything. The people of Kailali Kanchanpur, including the hilly districts of the far-western states, are in mourning and pain. It is as if the unseasonal rains that fell during the sowing season have not only completely damaged the crops in most of the districts but have also turned some arable lands into bogs. There is frustration and anxiety among the people, on the one hand there is the pain of losing relatives and on the other hand there is the worry of the management and upbringing of the survivors.
